New Coalition Created to Ensure Sound Future for Community Art Museum
The Rodman Hall Alliance has agreed to participate in a new group formed by the Rodman Hall Advisory Board which oversees Rodman Hall Art Centre. This new Coalition brings together community members who share a common goal: sustaining our community art museum within the context of Brock's possible withdrawal as the sole steward of Rodman Hall.
The Coalition consists of art and museum professionals, finance and business consultants, community developers, and art educators who represent broad expertise and a depth of community interests. The group has already begun their work by gathering information and defining the tasks, resources and timelines necessary to build a strong foundation of community governance capable of sustaining Rodman Hall into the foreseeable future.
Current members of the Coalition are:
Ineke Brinkman, Jean Bridge, Elizabeth Chitty, Mark Elliott, Giulia Forsythe, Tom Goldspink (chair), Liz Hayden, John Lehnen, John Mann, Sandy Middleton, Shawn Serfas, Donna Szoke, David Vivian.
We look forward to reporting on the work of the Coalition over the coming months and alerting those of you who are interested to opportunities for contributing to the work of Coalition committees and subcommittees.
